Born in Spain in 1956, Francisco Rodriguez del Canto took his first art classes at the Escuela de Arte de Granada. After studying architecture in Valencia, he moved to Paris to attend the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (French national school of art and design), where he obtained a degree. He became artistic director for several advertising agencies, whilst working in painting, theatre and film as a designer, producer and director. In 2000, he created a multidisciplinary multimedia design agency, where he still works today. Alongside his commissioned work, he also pursues his own personal artistic research in the fields of painting, video, installation and sculpture. He now devotes the majority of his time to these projects. He lives and works in Paris
